2009 - Amano UK Limited established to sell direct in the UK
2008 -  Amano Europe Holdings starts a joint-venture with Axxteq 
2007 - Amano Europe Holdings N.V. is established as a holding company for European units  and acquires French market leader Horoquartz greatly strengthening Amano's direct presence in Europe
2005 - Amano’s Time Stamp was awarded for "Reliability and Security of Time" and "Time Authentication" by Japan Time Communications Associations
1991 - Amano Corp. and Tokai Amano Corp. are merged into AMANO Corporation
1988 -ID card terminal "AM-5000 Series" is released 
1989 - New electronics time recorder "EX-3000" is released
1981 - A head office building is constructed to commemorate Amano's 50th anniversary and Electronics time recorder "DX-5000 series" is released
1979 - Amano America Manufacturing (AAM) plant is established and manufacturing started
1974 - The manufacture and sale of Parking Automatic Pay Station is started
1972 - The subsidiary, Amano Europe S.A., is established in Brussels, Belgium and Amano is listed on the Osaka Stock Exchange, first section.
1967 – Amano’s shares are transferred from the second to the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
1966 – The company names is changed to AMANO Corporation
1964 – Amano Time Systems (ATS), an overseas affiliated company is established in New York
1961 – Amano is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, second section
1958 – Time recorder ‘’NR Series’’ is released
1945 – Yokohama Equipment Corporation is established to resume the manufacture of time recorders
1942 – the Head Office is moved to Yokohama plant site
1939 – The company becomes a joint stock corporation
1933 – A patent on the time recorder is granted

1931 – Shuichi Amano founded AMANO
